Experience the Benefits of Skin Brightening

Who wouldn’t want brighter, more even-looking skin? As we age, a combination of internal and external factors—the top culprit being your skin’s biggest frenemy, the sun—lead to discoloration, dark spots, and brown patches.

The good news is, A-LUMINATE Brightening Serum™, a revolutionary new daily skincare product from ALASTIN Skincare®, can help minimize the appearance of skin discoloration in an elegant formulation that works for most skin types and can be used long-term without irritations.

What causes skin discoloration?

Skin discoloration (aka brown spots, age spots, uneven pigmentation, and an overall ruddy complexion) is caused by a number of factors. Many people experience discoloration as they get older thanks to skin aging. This natural phenomenon is a combination of what dermatologists call “intrinsic factors” (time, genetics) and extrinsic factors (sun exposure, pollution, tobacco).

Of these factors, the sun causes the majority of the damage. In fact, 90 percent of visible skin aging can be attributed to UV rays. That’s why one of the most crucial steps in an anti-aging skincare routine is broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher

Discoloration can also be caused by hormonal shifts—many women experience brown spots during and after pregnancy. Blue light from screens and electronic devices can be a contributing factor, as well as inflammation and the body’s response to certain medical conditions.

Introducing A-LUMINATE Brightening Serum™

ALASTIN’s Innovation and R&D teams worked to develop a product that helps to address the appearance of stubborn forms of hyperpigmentation in a formula gentle enough to use as part of your daily skincare routine. The result: A-LUMINATE Brightening Serum™, a multi-faceted skin brightener clinically proven to minimize the appearance of dark spots, help improve the look of discoloration and protect against future damage.

As seen by the clinical data, A-Luminate Brightening Serum™ is very effective in improving the appearance of skin tone, texture, and redness associated with mild to moderate pigmentation, when used for 12 weeks. It will be great to offer my patients a product with such impressive safety and tolerability,” says Deanne Robinson, MD, FAAD, a fellowship-trained, board-certified dermatologist based in Connecticut.

A-LUMINATE helps minimize the appearance of uneven pigmentation like brown patches, sun damage, freckles, and dark spots. With regular use, the daily formula also works to help protect against future damage and help minimize the reappearance of any unwanted spots. It also diminishes the appearance of redness that often accompanies discoloration.

The unique formulation is non-hydroquinone and non-retinol, and can be used long-term without irritation. It can also help complement the results of in-office treatments like lasers and chemical peels.
